Being a farmer’s son, I have seen the struggle of my father in the field. He works really, really hard in every season, surviving in heat waves to cold, to heavy rain, just to grow some crops to feed me and to sell the remaining crops in the market to have some savings for the future, if drought or any unexpected natural disaster takes place in the future, so we don’t get out of food, if we have some savings.
And in comparison to other parts of the world, our Indian farmers don’t get enough respect from people, and face so many challenges and problems in their daily lives, from receiving less price for crops, to high pesticide and fertiliser cost, and countless other problems.
But sadly, no one what to genuinely listen to the farmers and try to understand and fix their problems. Because everyone just cares about their daily meals, not about who is providing them. So I have created this documentary to give a platform to my village farm to share what they want to say.
I know that this documentary will not receive more views because it has heart-to-heart true conversations and does not have massala, controversy, and stuff that our audience likes the most.
